Education affects us all—even those of us who don't have children in school.
Schools across America face increasing demands and diminishing resources. Our society is changing at such a rapid pace and the education landscape is no different. Schools are expected to keep up with the unique needs of a changing society, as well as the needs of the workplace. Too often the resources of our schools do not meet these demands, and they are forced to look at other sources of funding and collaboration to meet their needs.
The Dothan Education Foundation addresses the needs of our schools by uniting the community under a common mission – quality education for all. By unifying and mobilizing the myriad of resources in our community, we seek to address the needs of our school district not only through funding, but by engaging citizens to support the public education system with their time and expertise.
As 2017 comes to a close, it's critical to protect our future for the years to come.
The Dothan Education Foundation is a tax-exempt non-profit organization, under the section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and therefore all charitable donations are deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
